Day 1. BILBAO-BOISE

Departure on the flight from Bilbao at 09:25 to Boise. Arrival at 11:16 p.m. and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2. BOISE–Jaialdi

Breakfast at the hotel and Jaialdi Activities in the “Basque Block”. The "Basque Block" will become the meeting place for friends and families. There will be handball and shovel exhibition matches at the fronton. The Basque Museum will be open with exhibitions on Basque themes. Throughout the day you can buy food and drinks in this area.

Day 3. BOISE: Jaialdi and Mining Towns

Breakfast and departure to make a route through the mining towns.

HISTORY: “During the early decades of the 20th century, small towns throughout southern Idaho had boarding houses, filled to capacity, with Basque shepherds. The largest concentrations of Basques were in the Treasure Valley (around Boise), in towns like Emmett and Nampa,... but the Basques also settled in towns along the Snake River plain, starting with Ontario, Oregon,... until further east, in Pocatello, and including the towns of Mountain Home, Shoshone, Gooding, Twin Falls, and Rupert.

7:00 p.m. Evening of Basque rural sports at the Century Link Arena, admission included. Professional athletes from the Basque Country will carry out stone lifting, log cutting and “sokatira” exhibitions. Competitions of other forms of rural sport will also be held.

Day 4. BOISE: Jaialdi and Boise

Breakfast and in the morning visit to Boise: Idaho Memorial Museum, Memorial Rose Garden, Boise Art Museum, Boise Basque Cemetery.

1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. “Basque Block”: Time to eat, have a drink and enjoy Basque music with old and new friends.

7:00 p.m. “Festara” will be held at the Egyptian Theater (limited tickets). Evening of music and dance. “Festara” is a celebration of traditional music and dance from the Basque Country, including artists from Euskadi, locals such as the famous Oinkari Dancers from Boise, etc. Entrance not included.

Day 5. BOISE: Jaialdi

Breakfast at the hotel and Jaialdi activities.

10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.: 'Expo Idaho” (Fairgrounds ) : We will enjoy the Opening Ceremony, Basque food, Basque rural sports competitions, music and dance, stalls selling art, souvenirs and handicrafts. Dozens of dance groups from all over the West-West will put on their performances. Basque vendors will be available in the Expo Idaho building with Basque novelties, souvenirs and clothing for sale. As well as food, drink and a display of sheepwagons. Entrance included.

19:00 Catholic Mass : The annual mass of San Inazio will be celebrated in Basque and English. The Oñati dance group will perform a liturgical dance at the altar in San Marcos, with the assistance of the Basque Oinkari.

21:00-23:00 Verbena at “Expo Idaho” (Fairground): The Celebration continues with a verbena where international and local groups will perform dance music. Entrance included.

Day 6. BOISE – LAS VEGAS (regular circuit)

Departure on the flight from Boise to Las Vegas at 11:32 a.m. via Dallas. Reception at the airport and transfer to hotel. Regular international Spanish-speaking circuit. Las Vegas is the city of fantasies and a mecca for gamblers. Rest of the day free.

Day 7. Las Vegas

American breakfast. Free day for optional walks. In the evening we will make a night tour of the city, stopping at the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign, then we will tour the Strip from South to North witnessing its many attractions, we will visit Fremont Street, the old part of the city and we will finish by visiting the most famous hotel from Las Vegas Caesars Palace, return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 8. LAS VEGAS–FRESNO

American breakfast. Today we leave Las Vegas and the Nevada desert and enter California again on our way to the city of Fresno through the well-known and extensive San Joaquin Valley. In summer the itinerary is changed to Mammoth Lakes). Arrival in the late afternoon. Accommodation at the Mammoth Mountain Inn Hotel or similar.

Day 9. FRESNO – YOSEMITE – SAN FRANCISCO

American breakfast. Today we leave for Yosemite National Park where we have the opportunity to appreciate nature in its pure splendor. We continue to San Francisco through the San Joaquin Valley. Arrival and accommodation at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square Hotel or similar.

Day 10. SAN FRANCISCO

American breakfast. American breakfast. In the morning we begin the visit of this beautiful city, including the commercial and financial center area, with stops at the Civic Center, Twin Peaks, Golden Gate Park, the famous Golden Gate Bridge and ending at Fisherman's Wharf. For those who want to continue walking on their own, they can stay at the Wharf and add an Alcatraz or Sausalito cruise. The rest of us return to the hotel and the afternoon is free. Accommodation. Day 11. SAN FRANCISCO – MONTERREY – CARMEL – STA MARIA (Lompoc)

American breakfast. First thing in the morning, meeting with your guide and departure to Monterey, the former Spanish capital of Alta California. After a stop and continuing our journey, we will go along the coast knowing the exclusive "17 Mile Drive", with its magnificent homes and golf courses, to reach the "town" of Carmel. Day 12. SANTA MARIA (Lompoc) – LOS ANGELES

Day 13. LOS ANGELES – BILBAO

American breakfast. In the morning pick up at your hotel in Los Angeles, to start the walk through the areas of greatest interest in this wonderful city. Our visit begins in the center of Los Angeles, where we can admire its famous and recovered Downtown. We will be able to admire the financial area on our walk: the Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles cathedral, the work of Rafael Moneo; the Walt Disney concert hall, an incredible work of the architect Frank Gehry and the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion Auditorium, in this area we will make our first stop for photos.

We continue to the Staples Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, in order to reach our next stop, the historic Plaza Olvera, center of Hispanic heritage. Hollywood will welcome us to enjoy the glamor of the seventh art; admire the famous Chinese Theater and why not, perhaps we have the opportunity to see a celebrity at the Dolby Theater, home of the Oscars. From here we will stop near the City Hall to enjoy this area on foot; our guide will accompany us to the famous Beverly Hills sign to take the inevitable photo of the memory and from here the passenger will go on his own to Rode Drive, famous shopping area of recognized international brands and home of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, the hotel of the pretty woman movie Duration: 4 hours. approx.
