ADVENTURE IN ANDALUSIA

The time and meeting point for the whole group is the Santa Justa train station (AVE) in Seville at 5:00 p.m. Arrival at our agency and lodging in our cozy Faro del Sur Apartments, in front of the Isla Cristina Marshes Natural Park, at the mouth of the Carreras estuary in the Atlantic Ocean.

A basic introductory course for the handling of kayaks and we get fully into the world of the marshes where we can enjoy a unique ecosystem . Depending on the tides, we will sail along the Carreras estuary to its mouth in the sea or through the narrow channels and estuaries that surround an old salt mine. The slow work of the old rederos, the fish market, the most important fishing port in Andalusia … A very quiet route in the perfect boat to get closer to the birds and plants that inhabit this beautiful Natural Area . A smooth and shady 12km route along old royal paths between chestnut forests, extensive meadows and small white villages steeped in history that still retain their roots. The contact with the people of the mountains and their traditional ways of life such as the breeding of the Iberian pig in freedom, the “saca” of the cork or the orchards in the small valleys. The charm of walking from one town to another, enjoying mountain cuisine with its acorn-fed Iberian products and exploring the Grotto of Wonders with its impressive rooms and underground lakes . Today's route takes us along a Greenway, between white salt flats and old tidal mills, to the historic town of Ayamonte, a town with a fishing and stately tradition located on the banks of the Guadiana River . Maritime neighbourhoods, former convents, we arrive at its lively river port to board the ferry that will cross us to Vila Real de Santo António , a pretty Portuguese town with white cobbled streets. A walk through its lively square and we will follow the route along the riverbank to its mouth in the Atlantic Ocean. A bath to freshen up, a good rice with seafood to regain strength and return to the Island in the afternoon. And if you don't dare to ride a bike , don't worry, you can do the same route on foot and by van. Full day .

A day awaited by nature lovers. First thing in the morning we will go out with our guide to tour part of this Protected Natural Area, one of the most important in the world. Different ecosystems such as forests, marshes or dune beaches mean that, in a small space, species as diverse as the imperial eagle, flamingos, deer or the emblematic Iberian lynx can coexist. La Aldea del Rocío with its white Hermitage and its sandy streets, a magical place surrounded by forests and lagoons where you can listen to the song of the birds. We will end the day with a gentle walk through green expanses of pine forests and a sea of fossil dunes to a wild beach where we can take a dip and eat. Complete day.

Let's cast off, all the rag up and heading for the Big Blue! Today we will go sailing with our sailboat towards the open sea to enjoy a good swim in the high seas . During the voyage we will teach you all the secrets about the ancient art of sailing and you will be able to take the helm of the ship with the help of our Skipper. Feel the Atlantic breeze on the sails while we watch, if we are lucky, dolphins and seabirds sailing the waves. Discover a world of wind and sea, sky and tides! Midday.

Today you will be able to explore at your own pace one of the last remaining artisanal salt mines to enjoy the tranquility offered by its magnesium lakes and mud baths. After lunch, pick up at the apartments and transfer to Seville (Santa Justa) to arrive at 5:00 p.m. End of program .
