One of the main concerns of the Thai government is conservation and respect for the environment. Thailand is full of countless green spaces and protected natural parks , unavoidable appointments for nature lovers.

Thailand has abundant natural resources, including a wide variety of flora and fauna, as well as a diverse natural environment. There are more than 100 national parks , including more than 20 marine parks, and the animals in Thailand are classified into more than 1,000 different mammal species, numerous birds – native and migratory – and spectacular marine life.

Each National Park in Thailand is inhabited by unique flora and fauna, from the lush forests of the northern mountains and vast plains in central Thailand to the savannahs of the northeast and the mangroves of the southern coast. The diversity of fauna includes monkeys, gibbons, elephants, bears and even whale sharks, the largest fish in the world.
