Depending on flight schedules, free time in Oslo to start the city tour, enjoy the lively center, the royal palace gardens and its beautiful port.

Overnight accommodation in Oslo

Day 2. Oslo-Torpo

In the morning we will dedicate ourselves to the free visit of the capital . It is recommended to walk through the streets of the center, the visit of the Vigeland Park, as well as the possibility of appreciating its interesting museums such as the Viking Naval Museum, Kon-Tiki Museum, the Fram Polar Museum, the National Historical Museum, the National Gallery where Munch's "Scream" is permanently exhibited or visit the fascinating interior of the City Hall where the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize is awarded.

After lunch meet the guide and transfer by car to Hovet . The tour will not stop surprising us with the most sublime of its nature: we will appreciate spectacular forests, huge lakes and majestic mountains. It's time to have your camera ready to take the best shots and memories of these fascinating places.

Brief stop in Torpo , where we will see from the outside the oldest original church in Hallingdal (year 1192). These medieval churches that we will see along our tour, qualified due to their construction as Stavkirke type, entirely built in wood, and dating from the 12th century, are one of the most unique attractions in Norway. Today, only 30 medieval Stavkirke remain standing, almost all of them in Norway.

Night in cabins in Geilo.

Day 3. Geilo. Hiking in the Handangevidda National Park. Hivjufossen waterfalls

We will begin to enjoy the natural environment in the vicinity of the town of Geilo , the starting point for today's activities. As the first stage of the day, we will return to our vehicle to head towards Tuva Turishytter, at an altitude of 1,100 meters, from where we will see all the beauty of the Handangervidda National Park. This important mountain refuge, known only to locals who love hiking and ski touring, will be our starting point for our hiking activity. Depending on the pace of the group, our guide will choose the most suitable excursion for everyone. We will enjoy the scenic environment of the Handangervidda National Park, made up of arid moors, lakes, rivers and streams.

In the afternoon, as the second objective of the day, we will head towards the outskirts of the town of Hovet, where we will reach the top of the Hivjufossen waterfalls (Hiv waterfall) with a drop of 250 meters. To access them we will do a medium level trek that, unlike the landscape of the Handangervidda National Park, crosses a forest of red pines, birches and a spectacular undergrowth. Throughout the tour we will have a beautiful perspective of the entire area and from above we will be able to observe magnificent views of the Hallingkarvet massif and the surrounding mountains. We will reach the edge of the waterfall to see the fall of the 250-meter jump.

Night in cabins in Geilo.

Day 4. Stavkirke Borgund, Aurland, Flam, Naeroy Fjord in Sognefjorden

Today we will have perhaps the most intense day in terms of activity, although no less interesting for that, since we will have the opportunity to admire endless natural wonders, fjords, mountains, and impressive engineering works.

We will begin the route with a beautiful journey in our vehicle towards the impressive Fjord of Dreams (Sognefjorden) traced between important heights. We will pass through one of the greatest works of road engineering, the longest road tunnel in the world, with a length of 24.5 km. which runs through the Leardal fjord. We will stop in Borgund to visit what is considered to be the largest and best preserved of the Stavkirke churches, built in wood at the end of the 12th century.

We will return to the town of Laerdal, and we will take the famous mountain road towards Aurland, 43 kilometers in which we will be able to observe how the landscape changes until we reach the high mountain and where we will become privileged travelers with the views that we will be able to obtain on the fjord of the same name. We will make a brief stop at the Stegastein viewpoint over the Aurland Fjord to be impressed by its spectacular beauty and architecture, both in the design of the viewpoint and the impressive views that it offers us.

We will arrive at the town of Flam , where we will cross the Naeroyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, from a boat with an outboard motor and with all the necessary equipment. We will embark on a true adventure through this wild and majestic place, surrounded by imposing mountains and numerous waterfalls of unparalleled beauty, where ospreys, seals and porpoises live, which with a bit of luck, we will be able to spot.

As an optional activity subject to availability and for those who wish, it is possible to take the route of the famous Flam railway (Flamsbanen) to Myrdal. This is the most exciting train journey in Norway: on the short but exciting journey in the highlands of the Flam Valley, we will see waterfalls and mountains with drops of up to 850 meters. (Optional Excursion).
At the end of the activities, we will go to the town of Voss.

Night in a hostel or cabin in Voss.

Day 5. Voss, Norheimsund, Jondal, Folgefonna Glacier

We will wake up in Voss, a small town with no more than 15,000 inhabitants, but very popular among lovers of adventure sports. We will admire the beautiful views of its extensive lake and the surrounding mountains, and then head towards Norheimsund, on a spectacular trip, where the first point will surprise us, a winding descent of the road in the vicinity of the Skjervsfossen waterfall, which stands out for its excellent location.

Following our route we will see lakes, lumber industries and we will coast along the Hardangerfjord, known as the Enchanted fjord , one of the most beautiful and extensive in Norway although one of the least known at a tourist level.

One of the few suspension bridges in Norway in the vicinity of Oystese will be part of our views, passing through Norheimsund, where we will make a brief stop. Then we will go to T orvykbygd, where we will take the ferry to Jonda l sailing through the Hardanger Fjord. Once we arrive at the port, we will head towards our destination, the Folgefonna glacier . Here we will make a walk of about 450 meters of accumulated difference in altitude with the aim of seeing the beauty of this unique frozen mass of impressive lunar-like landscapes, where the blue and white colors of perpetual ice intermingle. It will be possible to experience the fantastic sensation of walking on top of the snow of what is considered the third largest glacier in Norway.

In the afternoon, we will return to the town of Norheimsund. After lunch we will get ready for the kayaking activity in the Hardanger Fjord. For a few hours we will sail through the calm waters of this beautiful fjord in an idyllic spot that we will travel very close to the shore.

Night in cabins in Norheimsund.

Day 6. Bergen and heading south

We will arrive in Bergen, the second largest city in the country, which is widely recognized as one of the most beautiful cities in Norway. The old part of the city is located in the northern part of Vagen Bay and is the place where we find the Bryggen district, a series of old wooden houses from the beginning of the 18th century, a product of the reconstruction of the city after a fire in 1702 and made in the style of the medieval buildings that were in place before the fire. Currently, they are declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Free time in Bergen (optional visits)
It is recommended to stroll through the port and the fish market, or be surprised by the buildings of the old Bryggen district. It is also interesting to walk through the steep and lively streets of this city or go up with the funicular and get the best views of the city from its viewpoint.

After eating and at the time agreed by the guide, we will return to our vehicle to undertake what may be the longest stretch of driving, but not for that reason boring or monotonous. Norway always has a surprise in store for us in each of its corners and beautiful landscapes.

On the way to the south, we will return to admire the scenic beauty of this spectacular nation. We will continue observing fjords, mountains and more lakes, coniferous forests, up to the vicinity of Haugesund, where the landscape begins to change to become a more coastal vegetation typical of the south, the fjords cease to be large mountains to become a place of small and graceful rock islets, the sun feels stronger and the warmest breeze from the Atlantic is in the air, we are already in the Rogaland region!

Night in hostel or cabins in the Rogaland region near the coast.

Day 7. Preikestolen (The Pulpit) in Lysefjord – Stavanger

Hiking day to access the mythical rock of Preikestolen, better known as "El Púlpito" , a geological formation that rises 604 meters to a peak over the Lysefjord or "Fiord of Light". Walking to El Púlpito is a unique experience that rewards effort: its summit, only accessible on foot, offers the most spectacular views in Norway. The trek lasts about three hours and forty minutes round trip plus the time we want to enjoy at the top: a true challenge of adventure that will remain in our memory for a lifetime.

In the afternoon we will head to Stavanger, where we will visit this picturesque city in southern Norway and enjoy its lively nights as the culmination of our farewell. We recommend visiting the old part of the city with its particular wooden houses, cataloged among the best preserved in the world. Free farewell dinner.
